Balkan Village Band

Learn, Perform and have Fun

with Magic Music from Eastern Europe and the Balkans

Tuesday evenings from 7 til 9 pm

Lively sessions of learning and rehearsing a colourful music mix from Eastern Europe and the Balkans, in straight and ‘weird’ time-signatures, from folk and Romani traditions. We study various songs and pieces, famous ‘must-play’ tunes as well as unknown and rare treasures.

Here some videos from the Balkan Ensembles debut performance, 17th March 17 at the City University: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNCsSjIb8A45I88dVjw1unr_0YA81ttWZ
